🍁 Maple Cinnamon Rolls 🍁

Cinnamon Walnut Rolls with Maple Cream Cheese Glaze

Soft, fluffy, and bursting with warm cinnamon flavor, these Cinnamon Walnut Rolls are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert. Topped with a decadent maple cream cheese glaze, they’re a treat everyone will love.


Ingredients

For the Dough

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs

For the Filling

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp BRY Foods ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts (optional, for crunch)
  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, softened

For the Maple Glaze

  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1 tsp rose water for a floral note
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Make the Dough

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter, eggs, and flour. Mix and knead until smooth (about 10 minutes).
  3. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

2. Prepare the Filling

  1. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Roll out the dough into a rectangle about ¼-inch thick.
  3. Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle evenly with the cinnamon sugar mixture. Add chopped walnuts, if using.

3. Roll & Cut

  1. Roll the dough tightly from the long side.
  2. Cut into 10–12 rolls and place in a greased baking dish.
  3. Let rise for another 30–40 minutes until puffy.

4. Bake

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.

5. Make the Glaze

Whisk together cream cheese, maple syrup, vanilla extract, rose water (if using), and a pinch of salt. Drizzle over warm rolls.
