🍁 Maple Cinnamon Rolls 🍁

Ingredients

For the Dough:

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¾ cup warm milk

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 large eggs

For the Filling:

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp BRY Foods ground cinnamon

  • ¼ cup  chopped walnuts (optional, for crunch)

  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, softener

    For the Maple Glaze:

    • ½ cup cream cheese, softened

    • ¼ cup pure maple syrup 

    • ½ tsp vanilla extract

    • Optional: 1 tsp  rose water for a floral note

    • Pinch of salt

      🧁 Instructions

      1. Make the Dough:
      In a large bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5 minutes. Add melted butter, eggs, and flour. Mix and knead until smooth (about 10 minutes). Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

      2. Prepare the Filling:
      In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and BRY Foods cinnamon. Roll out dough into a rectangle (about ¼-inch thick). Spread softened butter on top, sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture, and add chopped walnuts.

      3. Roll & Cut:
      Roll the dough tightly from the long side and cut into 10–12 rolls. Place in a greased baking dish. Let rise another 30–40 minutes.

      4. Bake:
      Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes or until golden.

      5. Make the Glaze:
      Whisk together cream cheese, maple syrup, vanilla, rose water (if using), and a pinch of salt. Drizzle over warm rolls.

      🌿 Tips

      • Add a sprinkle of BRY Foods cardamom to the filling for a Middle Eastern touch.

      • These rolls are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.
